About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Prepare and serve all products offered by the Snack Shack. Operate kitchen equipment. Maintain portion control. Utilize proper stocking and rotation procedures. Operate Micros POS terminal. Assume responsibility for cash control. Follow proper cash handling procedures. Accept payment from guests. Balance cash drawer. Learn product logistics. Adhere to safety procedures. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of outlet on a daily basis. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Previous counter service and/or bartending experience preferred, but not required.
Highly self-motivated and dependable.
Consistently high-performing.
Knowledge of product and facility.
Knowledge of sanitary practices.
Safe and sanitary knife skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Able to work efficiently and independently.
Able to follow recipes.
Able to maintain a flexible schedule.
Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
Mobility throughout the facility.
Able to work under stressful conditions.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to twist, bend and squat on a frequent basis.
Able to lift up to 60 pounds on a periodic basis.
Able to tolerate kitchen heat and congestion on a periodic basis.
