About The Position

The AWS Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Lead is a high-impact position responsible for defining, executing, and optimizing go-to-market strategies across AWS’s product and service offerings. This role is central to ensuring that AWS products reach the right market segments with the most effective strategies, driving growth and market penetration. The GTM Strategy Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product, to identify new growth opportunities, oversee launches, and improve sales and marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sales models that drive AWS's go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics across assigned segments or regions.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations stakeholders to develop data-driven sales models, pricing frameworks, and channel strategies that optimize market penetration.
  • Lead market research initiatives and synthesize customer insights to continuously refine GTM approaches, maintaining competitive positioning and identifying emerging opportunities.
  • Drive competitive intelligence efforts, translating market analysis into actionable recommendations for GTM strategy optimization.
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution for product/service launches within scope, ensuring cross-functional alignment and channel readiness.
  • Develop and deploy sales enablement programs that equip field teams with frameworks, tools, and insights to drive revenue growth.
  • Define KPIs and implement tracking mechanisms to measure GTM effectiveness, delivering regular performance insights and optimization recommendations to leadership.
  • Establish feedback loops between field execution and strategy refinement.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure seamless GTM execution and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Share best practices and insights across AWS teams to drive organizational learning and GTM maturity.
