  • Ability to operate store equipment (e.g., baler, electrical equipment; must be 18+).
  • Ability to work varied shifts in a 24‑hour operation.
  • Physical abilities including: Lifting 10–55 lbs frequently Continuous standing, walking, and reaching Frequent gripping/grasping

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
  • Train, supervise, schedule, and assign duties to GM/HBC stock clerks.
  • Maintain department cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage daily inventory, ordering, backroom organization, and documentation.
  • Resolve customer concerns related to products, pricing, or service.
  • Ensure shelves and displays are stocked, faced, priced, and free of expired items.
  • Secure and manage high‑dollar and sensitive products.
  • Follow division merchandising programs and complete recalls.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local laws along with Safeway/Albertsons policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
