About The Position

The Global Tax & Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring ITA Group and its affiliated entities are compliant with all license, registration, and tax reporting obligations.  This position ensures the timely and accurate filing of forms and returns as well as the processing of related payments in the areas of income tax, sales and use tax, value-added tax, and any other jurisdictional registrations.  The Global Tax & Compliance Manager is the primary resource for tax issues and questions across the enterprise and provides leadership by employing strategies to mitigate risk, minimize tax, and ensure compliance with the latest rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five years public accounting or combined public accounting and tax experience.
  • Ability to understand and utilize productivity tools and related data.
  • Ability to think analytically and communicate this thinking to others in an understandable fashion.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with an emphasis in solution development.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to think and act in a proactive manner.   Able to see the big picture while understanding how each element contributes to the greater whole.  Must be able to project how a change or delay in one area will impact the overall project.
  • Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred.
  • Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred but not required.
  • CPA certificate preferred but not required.
  • Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred.
