About The Position

As the Global Strategic Account Manager , you will ensure the business and financial goals are reached by working with all levels of the customer's organization to specify PPG Products across programs. You will work remotely from Austin, Tx area and can be eligible for relocation support. Key Responsibilities: Interact with customer staff to ensure PPG is specified on new programs Communicate customer needs to PPG account project teams and ensure all programs are commercialized Mobilize PPG resources to support customer's programs working with the regional Account Managers, technical managers and technical service managers in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Produce regular reports concerning the account activities to the global PPG Electronic Materials team Provide feedback to our customer's management concerning PPG specified program progress at multiple applicators Promote PPG's brand, image and technologies to our customers Understand future technology and how it applies to our customers Understand PPG's product portfolio and benefits to ensure value selling Understand the competitive landscape and anticipate future gaps to improve PPG's market position Manage budgets to meet financial commitments Travel up to 20% including international PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets. Requirements

  • Degree in business/marketing, chemistry or related field
  • 3 years experience in the coatings industry
  • Experience with electronic materials
  • Experience in project management with customer focus
  • Spoken and written fluency in English is required
  • International travel 20%
