In this role you’ll make an impact by: Management/steering responsibilities Providing input to GMT in terms of e.g. general account trends, competition, industry dynamics Participating/contributing in GMT meetings (if applicable) Managing strategic/key account, i.e. team up with relevant stakeholders to optimize outcome of account Driving overall strategic direction of account and ensure preparation of and challenge and meet Budget , FF, and RSF (SO) Ensuring proper allocation of local Account Managers Operational day-to-day responsibilities Forming, leading and developing the Strategic/Key Account team Meeting account sales targets and set mid and long term targets Developing multi-layer sales relationships within account and developing/maintaining power map to understand decision power distribution; leveraging the executive suite Turning business and industry development into sales opportunities Orchestrating the relationship between the strategic/key account and NZ Collecting input from local AccMs Identifying competitive threats at accounts and inform by registering relevant information in Salesforce and following up on planned measures Boosting Customer Centricity Support responsibilities Implementing training and skill development plan defined by the Sales Director Coaching and providing input for Strategic/Key Account team members

Requirements

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree (Sales/Marketing and/or Technical)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant job experience, preferably in chemical or biochemical sciences
  • Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and relate to customers and colleagues of different backgrounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend travel

Responsibilities
