As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Global Resources Operations Associate to support operational systems and processes across Global Resources, with a particular focus on Trips to the Field and the Speakers Bureau, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and end‑to‑end execution. This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) if located in the Washington, DC area or remote for non‑local candidates. It reports to the Global Resource Operations Manager and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in business operations, logistics, or a related operational role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of projects and tasks simultaneously to completion
  • Experience working cross‑culturally and in trauma‑informed settings
  • Proven effectiveness collaborating on cross‑functional teams
  • Experience communicating with and producing materials for executive audiences

Responsibilities

  • Lead effective project management across Trips to the Field and Speakers Bureau operations
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for backend operations management using Smartsheet, SharePoint, and other identified platforms
  • Coordinate operational processes, timelines, and workflows to ensure requests and engagements are executed effectively from preparation through close‑out
  • Partner closely with the Global Survivor Network to ensure policy alignment, consistency, and right‑sized end‑to‑end support for Survivor Speaker engagements
  • Ensure requesting teams meet training, hosting, and policy requirements prior to engagements
  • Drive schedules for itineraries, briefing calls, preparation milestones, and engagement follow‑ups
  • Support preparation of speaker remarks and coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Finance and other internal teams to ensure honorariums and compensation are processed when applicable
  • Maintain organized backend data and reporting to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Participation in IJM’s community of spiritual formation
