Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field).
  • Possess 10+ years of relevant experience in quality, operations, or technical fields.
  • Hold demonstrated ability in root-cause analysis and development of effective corrective actions.
  • Have strong teamwork and collaboration skills across disciplines and cultures, with solid organizational awareness.
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation capabilities, along with assertiveness and cross-functional influence.
  • Have experience managing multiple priorities with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Hold the ability to work 100% onsite at Attapulgus, GA with travel (10–20%) to additional sites.

Responsibilities

  • Driving Quality Performance: Accelerating resolution of key quality issues by developing and implementing sustainable long-term solutions that support EBITDA and NCC objectives.
  • Strengthening Quality Systems: Enhancing existing quality management tools and leading the development of new preventive systems to shift the organization from reactive to proactive quality management.
  • Championing the Voice of the Customer: Ensuring customer and business needs are clearly represented across functions, especially for new team members, reinforcing consistency in decision-making and execution.
  • Leading Special Quality Initiatives: Managing unique customer-driven quality requirements, capturing lessons learned, and embedding improvements to prevent issue recurrence.
  • Managing Critical Quality Processes: Overseeing nonconformance management, customer complaint resolution, component specification alignment, and Blend/Component QA processes for all sites.
  • Leading Governance & Teams: Facilitating LT Quality reviews, managing quality KPIs, and guiding Multi-Site Manufacturing Quality Teams to ensure strong execution and timely action closure.
