About The Position

Astronics is a global aerospace and technology company committed to innovation, performance, and purpose. Our Corporate Information Technology team is at the center of driving our business forward, and we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Global Project Manager, Enterprise Systems to lead a cornerstone initiative for the company. This 5-year strategic transformation project, "Project Titan," aims to standardize and optimize business processes across our global operations. As the Global Project Manager, you will be the central leader responsible for the end-to-end project ownership and implementation of our core enterprise systems, including ERP (Dynamics 365) and PLM. You will lead internal teams, coordinate vendor partners, and ensure the project's successful execution, adherence to global standards, and alignment with our strategic goals. What You'll Do As the leader of the enterprise system projects, you will be responsible for both high-level strategic alignment and hands-on execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional IT, ERP, or business system initiatives. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to proactively communicate and coordinate to all stakeholder levels is essential.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise platforms (ERP, PLM, CRM), cloud ecosystems, and data integration principles.
  • Extensive experience navigating complexity across global teams, diverse stakeholders, and vendor partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in C-suite/executive-level communication and reporting, with an ability to distill complex technical information into business impact.
  • A builder's mindset: You are comfortable with ambiguity, naturally curious, and a strong "systems thinker" who can connect disparate processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to drive alignment and manage change.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strategic alignment to global governance processes, ensuring cross-SBU (Strategic Business Unit) visibility and adherence to strategic objectives.
  • Proactively anticipate project needs, identify potential risks, and manage stakeholder requirements before escalation occurs, ensuring continuous forward momentum without prompting.
  • Proactively and consistently keep all designated stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and decisions, ensuring no gaps in communication.
  • Prepare and deliver concise, executive-ready status updates that clearly connect technical execution to strategic business impact.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders - internal and external - are engaged at appropriate project milestones.
  • Independently identify and act on opportunities to improve communication flows, task delegation, and resource optimization.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of ERP (D365) and PLM systems across global sites, managing everything from kickoff through go-live.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, monitor budgets and resources, and ensure on-time delivery of all project milestones.
  • Collaborate across departments, from IT and operations to finance, HR, and vendor partners, to bring the project's vision to life.
  • Support and guide user adoption, training, and change management initiatives to ensure this isn't just a systems shift, but a true business transformation.
  • Oversee cross-platform data migration and validation, ensuring a smooth and accurate transition of information.
  • Help define new standardized processes, success metrics, and "new normals" across manufacturing, supply chain, and beyond.

Benefits

  • Health & Well-being: Health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, FSA, HSA, and additional voluntary coverage options.
  • Financial Security: 401K, profit sharing, & Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Work-Life Harmony: Employee Assistance Program and a culture that promotes work-life balance.
  • Generous Time Off: Starting with 120 hours of paid time off annually, plus 12 paid holidays per year.
