About The Position

The Global Payroll Manager will oversee and optimize payroll operations for employees across multiple countries and jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate compensation. This role combines leadership, compliance, and technical expertise to manage both U.S. multi-state and European payrolls. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors to maintain seamless payroll processes, implement improvements, and ensure adherence to global regulatory standards. Requirements

  • 5+ years of payroll management experience in a medium-to-large organization with multi-state and preferably global operations.
  • Deep knowledge of multi-jurisdictional payroll, federal/state/local labor laws, employee benefits, and payroll taxes.
  • Proven ability to manage payroll operations independently and with strict confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with ADP, Excel, and GSuite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for U.S. multi-state and international employees, including issuing paychecks and electronic transfers.
  • Review payroll calculations for exempt, non-exempt, bonus, commission, leave, and other pay elements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, databases, and reporting systems, including ad-hoc and year-end reporting.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to streamline payroll-related processes, including onboarding, changes, and offboarding.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with payroll service providers and third-party vendors to resolve issues and ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for internal departments, government agencies, and financial institutions.
