About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Global Payroll Manager. In this role, you will take ownership of scaling multi-country payroll operations. You will manage payroll administration for a distributed workforce and support the company's expansion into new countries. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will establish a best-in-class payroll function. This managerial position includes overseeing a Payroll Analyst, ensuring compliance with local laws, and maintaining efficient payroll processes.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including global payroll operations.
2+ years of experience managing direct reports.
Direct experience processing US payroll and familiarity with US payroll laws.
Proficiency in a major payroll system (e.g., ADP WFN).
Understanding of payroll accounting, including reconciliations and accruals.
Experience with payroll vendor selection and implementation.

Responsibilities

Oversee payroll processing for a distributed workforce across multiple countries.
Manage relationships with various EOR/PEO vendors in multiple regions.
Prepare and validate payroll inputs, including HR data and compensation changes.
Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll.
Collaborate with People and Benefits teams for compliance with local labor laws.
Prepare monthly payroll entries and reconciliations.
Develop ad-hoc reports for finance and legal teams.
Manage payroll vendors and implement new system integrations.
