About The Position

This role sits within the Work & Rewards business and focuses on discovering, developing and managing relationships that drive business growth and strategic objectives with potential and current partners. Supports sales growth by identifying commercial alliances that expand our commercial opportunities and maintaining partnerships that contribute to our digital ecosystem and innovation roadmap. Domain knowledge of client needs (CHROs, Heads of TR, Heads of Talent) in the areas of work strategy and rewards combined with the visionary perspective of our executive sponsors on the Work & Rewards leadership team to help shape concepts. This role maintains close contact with internal stakeholders, clients, and partners to understand shifting needs in the market.

Requirements

  • Work & Rewards solution sets: reward strategy, pay data & analytics, pay for performance, pay equity, work strategy, organizational analysis, knowledge architecture (skills), workforce analytics/planning, functional org design, reinventing jobs & reskilling, and career framework/enablement.
  • Deep knowledge of the HR technology space with a focus on Work & Rewards related functionality and solutions and working knowledge of innovation frameworks (preferred).
  • Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset - able to identify and creatively solve challenges, think outside the box, facilitate discussions, drive consensus internally and with partners and execute ideas with a view toward commercial success.
  • Experience managing and cultivating relationships with external service providers or partners, especially those serving HR and Future of Work business leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous and high-profile commercial initiatives.
  • Experience writing compelling business case proposals requiring investment or strategic decision making by executive leaders.
  • Comfortable with loosely defined requirements where you exercise your analytical skills to collaborate with executive sponsors and the rest of the team to iteratively evaluation solutions.
  • Demonstrated success working remotely with globally distributed, cross-functional, and highly collaborative team in an agile work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Development:
  • Develops a comprehensive strategy for partnerships, alliances that aligns across W&R
  • Collaborates with Advisory and Products leadership to identify opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Leads market scans of potential partners based on identified gaps in our offerings
  • Manages the process of conceptual prototyping and piloting prospective partner solutions for fit with WTW business goals
  • Monitors industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to new alliances Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers
  • Develops and maintains relationships with technology partners to enhance and/or expand W&R portfolio
  • Fosters strong relationships with existing and potential partners to maximize value and ensure alignment of objectives
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, ensuring alignment and mutual benefit
  • Manage early-stage discussions with prospective partners and supports evaluation by internal stakeholders
  • Initiate discussions with prospective partners and coordinates all activities for inbound inquiries from prospective partners Negotiation and Contract Management:
  • Evaluates and oversees the negotiation of strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance our solution offerings and market reach
  • Develops detailed business case proposals for partner relationships and presenting to WTW executives for approval to enter strategic alliance agreements with partners
  • Leads the contracting, negotiation, and onboarding process of new partners including the orchestration of executive decision making and support from internal WTW teams (e.g., Legal, Data Privacy Office, IT, ERM, etc.)
  • Provides operational oversight of existing partnerships, including quality of work, financial performance, adherence to agreements and continuous evaluation of expansion opportunities Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to track the performance and impact of partnerships and alliances
  • R eport on partnership performance to executive leadership, providing insights and strategic recommendations Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and legal to ensure successful partnership integration and execution
  • Drive communication across Advisory, Product and Data Innovation areas to ensure alignment and leverage partnerships effectively
  • Coordinates executive sponsorship and relationship alignment between WTW and partners
  • Partners with other commercialization leaders to support awareness building among WTW client-facing colleagues about capabilities enabled by our partners through written materials, client-ready presentation decks, participation in internal information sessions and capabilities briefings Innovation and Business Development:
  • Encourage and support innovative approaches to partnerships that can lead to new revenue streams or enhance existing ones
  • Explore and develop joint ventures or co-marketing initiatives with partners
  • Identification and evaluation of (possible) start-up technology firms that complement our Product offerings
  • Prepare capabilities briefings about prospective partners for internal stakeholders, which may include internal recommendations of buy, build, partner approaches to filling capability gaps Continuous Improvement:
  • Supports the creation of clear engagement protocols: outlining the process for client-facing colleagues to engage partners in projects, communications, billing and fulfilment client of deliverables processes
  • Develops framework for continuous improvement with partners based on feedback from internal stakeholders and clients
  • Serves as the focal point for escalation for issue resolution
