About The Position

Okta is seeking an ambitious and impact-driven Partner Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy and execution with our primary cloud service provider, AWS. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement programs to market with, to, and through AWS, driving awareness, joint demand, and partner-influenced pipeline and ACV growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic marketer with deep experience in cloud partnerships, partner marketing frameworks, and joint go-to-market strategies. This role will act as the global orchestrator for cloud partner marketing, building integrated programs with our most strategic ISVs and GSIs while ensuring alignment between global and regional programs and initiatives to deliver measurable business impact. A strong understanding of cloud technologies, security stacks, and the identity landscape is highly valued.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in partner marketing within SaaS or cloud ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of cloud service provider partnerships, partner dynamics, and co-marketing best practices.
  • Proven success in developing and executing impactful global partner marketing programs that deliver measurable results.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with regional marketing teams to drive consistent execution across geographies.
  • Core marketing expertise including demand generation, ABM, and customer journey creation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Cloud Partner Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute marketing strategies that align AWS engagement with Okta's business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Create bespoke ABM plans for top AWS accounts, targeting strategic G2K customers to drive awareness, pipeline, and partner-influenced ACV.
  • Joint Demand Generation: Partner with regional marketing and field teams to design and execute demand generation campaigns with AWS, creating leads and accelerating pipeline.
  • Thought Leadership & Content: Collaborate with product marketing, AWS, ISVs, GSIs and external agencies to develop co-branded content, case studies, webinars, and event speaking engagements that showcase joint successes.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Build strong relationships across Okta, AWS, and ecosystem stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of global and regional partner campaigns.
  • MDF Management: Manage marketing development funds (MDF) with AWS, ensuring proper allocation, tracking, and ROI reporting for joint initiatives.
  • Multi-Partner Integration: Team with GSI and ISV partner marketing leaders to integrate strategies and deliver joint programs across multiple partners.
  • Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on key metrics to optimize marketing investments and measure partner-influenced pipeline and ACV growth.
  • Event Leadership: Collaborate with the events team to drive AWS sponsorships, partner attendance, and high-value experiences at flagship events, including Oktane, Identity Summits, and SKO.
