About The Position

Detail-oriented and commercially minded Global Merchandising Planner to support seasonal planning, in-season business analysis, and cross-regional alignment. This role plays a key part in translating global product strategies into actionable plans, supporting margin optimization, and ensuring regional execution reflects global intent. Reporting to the Global Merchandising Planning Manager, you will collaborate closely with Global Merchandising, Regional Planning, Finance, and Product Development to drive performance across key milestones.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in merchandise planning, preferably in a global or multi-region context
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and business reporting
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A global mindset with attention to regional nuance
  • A balance of analytical rigor and product sensitivity
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to planning and execution
  • A passion for consumer, product, and team collaboration
  • Bachelors Degree

Responsibilities

  • Seasonal Planning & Forecasting
  • Support the development of global sales, margin, and inventory projections across categories and regions
  • Assist in building planning frameworks to inform capacity planning, cost negotiation, and margin improvement
  • Maintain planning tools and templates to ensure consistency across seasonal milestones In-Season Business Analysis
  • Monitor weekly business performance across categories and regions, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Deliver insights to support mid-season adjustments and strategic decision-making
  • Track margin performance and pricing impact across development stages Product Strategy & Regional Buy Support
  • To ensure regional buys align with global product strategies
  • Participate in buy review meetings, providing analysis and recommendations to optimize assortment productivity
  • Identify product opportunities and assortment gaps based on trend analysis and hindsight learnings Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Liaise with Regional Planning, Merchandising, Design, Product Development, and Supply Chain to support seasonal execution
  • Assist in tracking cross-functional KPIs including margin, pricing, option count, and assortment productivity
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and planning tool enhancements
