About The Position

PURPOSE Seeking Analyst level Investor Marketing professional to join our Global Markets Short Term Credit Trading & Sales Team currently ranked among the Top 4 bulge bracket dealers in the US market. This role will be responsible for supporting the origination and investor marketing efforts associated short-term investment grade products across institutional Buy/Sell side clients in the US; and, similarly, to support the efforts to build out a newly formed Euro CP/CD Trading & Sales Desk. The products include Commercial Paper, Asset-Back Commercial Paper, Yankee Certificates of Deposit, Time Deposits and the equivalents in Europe. The issuer set involves the major Global Bank organizations (GSIBs), Large Cap Industrials and SSA’s. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skillsets along with the ability to collaborate as a full team player with senior members of the Desks in the US and London. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Build pitchbooks outlining platform strengths to new issuer clients Support the document closing process as an active participant in deal teams with both internal and external members Support the creation and distribution of weekly and monthly commentary Re-package pricing and distribution data to highlight RBC performance Support the logistical needs of managing conference and reception events Maintain client rosters and profiles Review and comply with firm policies applicable to your business activities Understand and align to RBC’s core culture and values Will Obtain “Trader’s Mandate” to facilitate execution needs as and when requested JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Well organized and able to quickly prioritize tasks under pressure Strong and effective communication skills Other Required Qualifications: General knowledge of Short-Term Credit products (CP, YCD, ABCP) within the fixed income markets Client facing skills Committed team player with a can-do attitude Series 7, 63 What's in it for you The base salary range for this job is $100,000 - $135,000 per year.
