About the Role Market & Competitive Intelligence Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of global market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence. Build and maintain a structured process for monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitor activities. Develop and present actionable insights that inform portfolio decisions and long-term strategy. Strategic Translation Partner closely with the Director of Platform Technology and Global Product Managers to translate market insights into portfolio strategies and product roadmaps. Provide clear, data-driven recommendations that influence business cases, Stage Gate decisions, and go-to-market planning. Create and deliver high-impact reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive and cross-functional stakeholders. Relationship Building & Collaboration Establish and nurture strong relationships across Össur’s regional teams to ensure global alignment and exchange of market knowledge. Build external networks with key customers, clinicians, researchers, and industry stakeholders to capture critical insights and trends. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Strategic Marketing team by bringing the “voice of the market” into every portfolio discussion. Business Acumen & Communication Apply strong business acumen to evaluate market opportunities, size new segments, and assess competitive positioning. Communicate complex insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels, from regional teams to executive leadership. Requirements

  • BS/BA degree
  • Proven and demonstrated experience in market research and analytics
  • Self-starter; ability to take initiative and also to seek guidance when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills in group and one-on-one settings.
  • Strong organization, time management, and project management skills.
  • Computer skills are required, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

  • MBA is a plus
