Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. The Amazon Leo team is looking for a talented and passionate individual to lead our global integrated marketing, including brand strategy, brand marketing, media planning/buying, social media marketing, and sponsorships (department head). Jobs like this don’t come along often. You’ll be a key leader defining the Amazon Leo brand and establishing it as a trusted and loved brand around the world for consumers, businesses and government organizations. Your team is responsible for brand strategy; the universal Amazon Leo; campaign and brand activation ideation, creation, execution, and localization; media strategy, planning, buying, and optimization; organic social media strategy including influencer marketing, boosted content, and community building/engagement; sponsorship strategy, negotiation, and activation; and more. Amazon Leo is an early-stage business. As such, hiring great talent, career development, and mentorship are essential for this role as you build your global team. Adaptability and resilience in the face of changing team needs, market conditions, and external factors is critically important, as is the ability to partner and collaborate closely with cross-Amazon teams and external partners.
