About The Position

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. The Amazon Leo team is seeking an experienced, multitasking, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support the Director of Technical Program Management. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside the company is important, as is emotional intelligence, kindness, and a good sense of humor. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action with strong ambiguity and show grace under pressure.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • 5+ years of executive assistant experience
  • Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
  • Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive coordination and engagement with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and business cycle calendars
  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
  • Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on action items
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports
  • Drive key team activities such as staff meeting agendas, off-sites, and all-org meetings
  • Space planning oversight
  • Travel coordination and expense reimbursement
  • Management of special projects as needed
  • Have fun at work and help others do the same

Benefits

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
  • Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
