Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience managing major accounts, ideally OEMs, with a strong focus on customer relationship management.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience managing GM CCA/ account  with a strong focus on customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in SAP, CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, lifetime service solutions, and automotive market trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities with GM.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for GM, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and resolving any emerging issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product development, to deliver tailored solutions that meet GMs specific needs.
  • Lead initiatives related to Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, ensuring alignment with Schaeffler’s strategic objectives and customer requirements.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competition to identify opportunities and develop strategies to stay ahead in the market.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals that convey the value proposition of Schaeffler's products and solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and report on account metrics to senior management to ensure target achievement.
  • Manages exist & negotiate new contracts, and agreements, for VT AM and lead negotiations with the customer’s purchasing departments.
  • Forecasting for future budgets plans / multi year.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profits while maintaining customer trust.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to increase brand awareness and strengthen client relations
