About The Position

This role is a key opportunity for a seasoned logistics professional to lead and scale global event operations. You will manage the end-to-end logistics for high-profile tradeshows, product launches, and strategic events worldwide, ensuring that all assets arrive on time, intact, and compliant with international regulations. The position combines hands-on execution with strategic process design, allowing you to build durable, repeatable systems that support global expansion. You will collaborate across marketing, business development, and production teams while maintaining strong vendor relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and event agencies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under tight deadlines, enjoys solving complex logistical challenges, and has a passion for technology-driven environments.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight management roles
  • 4+ years of experience managing logistics for events, preferably in industrial, aerospace, or hardware-heavy environments
  • Extensive experience with international shipments, customs regulations, and import/export compliance
  • Proven ability to manage high-stakes events under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and geographies
  • Passion for technology, particularly in defense, aerospace, or mission-critical environments
  • Ability to travel as required for event support

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve a global logistics program for events, ensuring reliability and efficiency across regions
  • Plan and execute domestic and international shipments, including sensitive, high-value, and oversized equipment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align logistics with event objectives, timelines, and brand standards
  • Collaborate with procurement to negotiate and manage cost-effective shipping, drayage, and production contracts
  • Navigate customs, compliance, and regulatory requirements across multiple global markets
  • Manage vendors and stakeholders, monitoring performance, service levels, and budgets
  • Track event budgets, timelines, and shipment statuses, providing clear updates to internal teams
  • Capture lessons learned to optimize processes, reduce costs, and scale global operations
