The Global Digital Product Director will play a critical role in delivering IFF’s future vision by leading the strategy, execution, and commercial success of highly complex digital products within the Taste Business Unit. This role sits within the Intelligence & Digital Transformation team and is responsible for shaping global digital product direction, driving adoption, and ensuring measurable business impact. Taste: Crafting unique, technology-enabled flavor designs that define the identity of food and beverage brands, shape trends in flavor building and fuel market success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing global digital initiatives, preferably with some experience in the food and beverage ingredient or flavor industry.
  • Expertise in Jira, familiarity with Confluence, Figma, Miro, and Cloud platforms; familiarity with SAP, Salesforce and SFDC preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
  • Ability to manage complex global projects and navigate cultural nuances.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Product Strategy & Ownership Own and evolve the global digital product strategy and roadmap for the Taste BU, aligned with business priorities and value creation. Act as the ultimate product owner, setting priorities and making trade‑offs to maximize impact. Drive a customer‑first mindset, focused on user experience, adoption, and measurable value. Identify opportunities where digital products create competitive advantage, not just respond to requests.
  • End‑to‑End Product Delivery Own the full product lifecycle, from discovery and concept through delivery, scaling, and continuous improvement. Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, milestones, and release plans. Ensure strong validation, testing, and feedback loops to meet global user and business needs. Drive harmonization and scalability across regions and markets.
  • Governance, Performance & Adoption Establish and enforce global product governance, standards, and ways of working. Define and track KPIs for quality, adoption, delivery effectiveness, and future readiness. Use data and insights to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Drive adoption through clear metrics, communication, training, and change management, ensuring business value is visible and realized.
  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership Serve as the primary link between the Taste BU, IT, and Digital Product teams. Build strong partnerships with business leaders, UX/UI, and technology teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. Communicate clearly with users, leadership, and executives; support external positioning through customer interactions and demos. Lead, coach, and develop a global team of Digital Product Owners and developers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
