Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) is a full-service security and investigative team that protects the assets, integrity and reputation of Citi and its clients. CSIS Crisis Management is responsible for designing and maintaining Citi’s all-threats Crisis Management program and providing strategies for businesses to use to protect staff and mitigate risk during a crisis event as well as complying with applicable legislation, regulations and codes. The program covers the complete crisis management lifecycle from Readiness to Response through to Recovery and Review and is activated during crisis events to provide notifications, escalation, and coordination of Citi corporate resources to help resolve emergencies. CSIS Crisis Management is building out a team in Charlotte and is looking for an experienced professional to lead the global Crisis Management Exercise program. This Crisis Management role is responsible for all aspects related to maintenance and execution of the of the exercise program, and is implemented in every Citi country, and across all business. Role responsibilities include: Design and maintenance of all aspects of Citi’s enterprise level Crisis Management Exercise Program Author the Policy, Standards and Procedures for Citi’s Crisis Management Exercise Program Manage day-to-day functions in support of Citi’s Crisis Management Exercise Program Engage with CSIS’s Intelligence and security functions, Enterprise Resiliency and business leaders as threats emerge to develop planning scenarios and exercises. Plan, develop, facilitate, and conduct comprehensive Crisis Management exercises to validate organization response and recovery capabilities Design and lead regional and global Crisis Management exercises, both specific threat based and cyclical. This includes engaging regional, and global stakeholders in a collaborative planning process Lead the After Action Report process for regional, and global exercises. This includes drafting and vetting the initial draft and working with multiple stakeholders to validate exercise recommendations and related post-exercise improvements Oversee the local cyclical exercise program including the After Action requirements. Review post-exercise actions and evaluate performance and processes to determine how well the Crisis Management program performed. Update best practices, guidance methodology of the response plans as needed Qualifications: This role requires proven experience in crisis management exercising. If you have the following, we would like to talk to you: 10 years of experience, with demonstrable involvement in crisis management exercising, preferably in the financial services sector Industry recognized professional training/exercise certifications in crisis management and/or contingency planning would be an advantage Ability to bring compassion in leadership to crisis management Experience of best practices of in-crisis communications and experience of enterprise level Crisis Management exercising and education programs Self-starter and resourceful individual, with experience operating in fast paced and dynamic operational settings Experience of working with virtual global teams within a matrix organization Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables as well as changing priorities concurrently Possess strong interpersonal skills and display an ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels in the organization Exceptional analytical skills to define develop and manage multiple processes Effective planning and execution abilities Education: Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
