About The Position

DLH is seeking a Global Community Engagement Coordinator to support community engagement in the ACTG Clinical Trials Network (Advancing Clinical Therapeutics Globally for HIV/AIDS and Other Infections), one of the world's largest and longest-running clinical trials networks focused on HIV, other infectious diseases, and those living with them. The ACTG is composed of 59 sites, approximately half of which are in the US and half overseas in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The community participates directly in ACTG activities, contributing their knowledge, perspectives, and lived experiences to the determination of ACTG scientific priorities, planning studies, recruiting study participants, and conducting outreach. This position fosters community collaboration among community members by providing logistical, communication, and informational support. This individual will serve as a member of the Leadership Support Group of the ACTG Network Coordinating Center (NCC), based at DLH. They are expected to collaborate intensively with the other five members of the group; the group lead will provide guidance and mentorship on NCC and ACTG procedures.
