About The Position

The mission of the Global Communications team is to align, engage, and inspire associates across the globe through effective storytelling and multi-channel communication. As a Global Communications Manager, you will partner directly with senior leaders in Capital’s Operating Group to develop and execute integrated communications campaigns, shape functional narratives and influence decision making as a strategic consultant and partner of choice to the business. You will focus on supporting Capital’s Global Technology group with enterprise-wide technology programs, as well as select other operating groups. You will play an integral part in planning and executing campaigns that support Capital’s strategic priorities and bring associates along the journey to Capital @100 in 2031. In an area of accelerated technological disruption, you are key to connecting functional initiatives with enterprise-level evolution and helping associates navigate transformation with clarity and confidence. You are well versed in managing a high degree of complexity with stakeholders across the business and effectively partnering with peers to ensure that messaging and associate experience are consistent and reflect Capital’s unique culture and core values.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading internal communications strategy in a fast-paced, global organization, ideally supporting a large technology function or working at a technology company.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing communications plans that deliver measurable business outcomes, as well as a solid grasp of change management communications practices.
  • Seasoned communications leader with demonstrated project management skills, including communications planning, writing, storytelling, research, audience insights, and channel innovation. This includes a digital first style of writing and fluency in using Copilot for accelerated outcomes.
  • Keep abreast of current and emerging internal communications technology, tools, channels and best practices, and leverage data, insights and metrics to inform your approach.
  • Passionate about the associate (employee) experience and understand the essential role that creative and contemporary internal communications play in helping to align, engage and inspire people.
  • Persuasive, influential, and savvy communicator with experience in consulting senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Demonstrate agility and pivot quickly, adjusting to fast-paced developments in the technology space.
  • Global mindset and are comfortable navigating a highly matrixed corporate environment, collaborating across many stakeholders and groups to accomplish a goal.
  • Coordinate well with your peers supporting other business groups and are comfortable with shared creative and production resources.
  • Basic understanding of and strong interest in current and emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence.
