Requirements

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in global procurement, sourcing, supply chain, indirect spend, or Source-to-Order environments.
  • Proven success leading complex, department-wide change initiatives, including process redesign, operating model shifts, and digital or AI-enabled transformation.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize insights for executive audiences.
  • Experience operating effectively in ambiguous, highly matrixed, global organizations.
  • Working knowledge of digital procurement platforms, analytics, and emerging AI applications relevant to sourcing and procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion.
  • Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.
  • Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate.
  • Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.
  • Ensures that the utilization of all material and financial resources is carried out in an effective manner.
  • Effectively work with other staff to maximize productivity for the project / program.
  • Lead and deliver horizontal, cross-functional initiatives spanning the full Source-to-Order lifecycle, from strategic problem definition and analysis through program design, execution, and value realization.
  • Serve as a strategic integrator across procurement, finance, supply chain, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment to enterprise priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Design and lead large-scale transformation initiatives, including operating model redesign, process simplification, capability uplift, and technology-enabled change using AI and other technology solutions.
  • Identify, design, and implement AI-enabled and digital use cases that increase capacity for department, improve decision quality, productivity and strengthen risk management; enhance supplier outcomes.
  • Translate enterprise and functional strategy into clear ideas, roadmaps, frameworks and business cases including execution plans with defined strategic and opertaonal outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor with high influence to senior leaders by delivering data-driven insights, facilitating executive decision-making, and leading structured workshops from strategy through execution.
  • Lead change efforts, including internal partner and stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption tracking.
  • Build and manage strong internal and external partnerships, including suppliers, technology partners, and centers of excellence.
  • Lead and develop a small team of professionals responsible for converting strategy into programs and delivering tangible business value.
  • Influence and mentor with or without direct authority, building followership through credibility, clarity, and collaboration – and action.
