About The Position

The Glen Eyrie Supervisor shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. This position serves all departments and guests by providing onsite supervisory presence for conference center activity after normal business hours, ensuring excellent guest experience, responding to guest and staff needs, and exercising staff oversight, both within the department and outside of Event Services as it pertains to evening activity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ability to work a schedule from 4:00PM-midnight Wednesday-Sunday (days of week may vary by guest needs). Demonstrate flexibility with varying guest needs and activity. Provide supervisory presence for guests and staff Create opportunities for relational hospitality by welcoming guests and engaging with them when appropriate. Execute Guest Recovery efforts as needed in collaboration with Guest Services Leadership. Provide excellent verbal and written communication to ensure continuity of service with daytime staff. Ensure safety for staff and guests by proactively addressing concerns. Coordinate emergency response. Escalate issues to appropriate staff as needed with discernment. Ambassador for the Navigators and Glen Eyrie in all interactions. Adhere to and continually seek new ways to live out Glen Eyrie mission and core values. Fulfill all duties and responsibilities of the Housekeeping and Event Services Representative Job Description Demonstrated ability to clean guest rooms to GE Housekeeping standards, including cleaning bathrooms, making beds, dusting rooms, and properly stocking all required guest amenities. Ability to set up and break down meeting and event spaces to GE Event Services standards, including arranging chairs, tables, and stage pieces. Must be able to safely lift up to 80 pounds. Snow removal responsibilities, including the ability to shovel snow in multiple areas across the property as needed. Ability to respond appropriately to security-related issues and handle situations calmly and responsibly when they arise. Address level 1 Facilities issues (clogged toilet, water shutoff, etc.) Ability to enforce guest and staff policies, while providing God-honoring hospitality. Communicate with clarity using multiple methods of property communication: (Examples to include Maintenance Connection system, Fetch, Homebase, Navigators email, hand-held radios, texting.) Additional Responsibilities Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate. Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required. Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system. Other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Three years of experience in hospitality and/or supervisory experience.

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 80 pounds.
