About The Position

Maintain DOCUmation’s financial records by managing the general ledger, preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and supporting month-end/year-end close processes. They ensure compliance with GAAP, analyze financial data, manage fixed assets, and assist with audits. Key skills include high attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and strong analytical.

Requirements

Exceptional Excel skills
Strong technical accounting knowledge
E Automate or Ultimate Software knowledge preferred
Expertise in preparing, analyzing, and maintaining general ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements.
Managing monthly closing processes, bank reconciliations, and tax reporting.
High accuracy in data entry and financial analysis to prevent discrepancies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, such as month-end closings and auditing, within strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger via Journal Entries
Reviewing balance sheet and income statement for accuracy and reconciling accounts
Analyzing financial data and providing financial recommendations
Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards
Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
Gathering information for tax documents
Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed
Maintain fixed asset records and supporting documentation
