The Pima County Information Technology Department is seeking a highly motivated, thorough, and disciplined individual with strong GIS knowledge and technical skills to serve in the position of GIS Analyst. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, and thrive in a team environment. This position will be involved in a wide variety of GIS projects, using Esri data solutions, models, and tools. Duties may include: Maintaining the county’s parcel base using Esri’s Parcel Fabric. Creating and updating streets within subdivisions using Esri's Linear Referencing System. Reviewing and updating core county layers involving: parcels, right of way, county property and county development projects. Writing and updating SOPs outlining data maintenance processes. Training staff and customers on GIS data and applications. Optimizing and maintaining geodatabases. Collaborating with teams to develop attribute rules, process automations, and migrating legacy code to modern languages such as Python and Arcade. Assisting customers with data requests.
