Riverton Hospital Volunteer - Gift Shop
About The Position
Riverton Hospital Gift Shop Volunteers assist guests with making purchases in the Gift Shop. Volunteering in the Gift Shop gives volunteers opportunities to provide customer service and a welcoming environment to patients, staff and guests who visit the Gift Shop. Volunteers assist guests in finding items and making gift selections, take phone orders, and straighten store displays as needed. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn how to operate a Point-of-Sale cash register system, help with store displays and merchandising. Previous retail experience is not required. Volunteers are needed one day per week for one 3-hour shift. The Gift Shop is open Monday thru Friday from 9a.m.- 6p.m. Not all shifts may be available. Volunteers will be able to choose the day and time to volunteer. Current Shift Openings include: Mondays: 9a.m. - Noon Tuesdays: 3-6p.m. Wednesdays: 3-6p.m. Thursdays: 3-6p.m. Fridays: Noon - 3p.m. or 3 - 6:p.m.
Requirements
- A consecutive 80-hour (6-month) commitment, which entails volunteering one day per week for 3-hours
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years-old
- Volunteers must be fully vaccinated, including an annual flu vaccine
- Complete a Background check
- Submit to a TB Test
- Attend a Volunteer Introduction/Orientation Meeting
