About The Position

The Role: Artistry in Service As a Gift Shop Associate, you are a brand ambassador. You aren’t just "ringing up items"—you are providing expert recommendations, sharing local knowledge, and ensuring that every guest’s journey is elevated by their visit to your shop.

Requirements

• Must possess (or be able to obtain) a valid State of Colorado Gaming License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional English verbal skills.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must thrive under pressure and remain organized.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in upscale retail or luxury hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a genuine smile and a warm, proactive welcome.
• Act as a personal shopper by identifying guest needs and suggesting the perfect memento or essential.
• Efficiently process transactions while engaging in sophisticated conversation and meticulously wrapping purchases to our 4-star standard.
• Manage currency and point-of-sale operations with accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as a resort expert, answering questions about the Gift Shop and the broader Chamonix Resort.
• Maintain a pristine shop environment, process paperwork neatly, and answer phones with a "smile you can hear."
• Maintain strict adherence to the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal safety protocols.
