About The Position

The Gift Shop Associate is responsible to welcome guests, serve ready-made food and snacks, and accurately ring sales and process payments on the cash register. Ongoing cleaning and re-stocking of merchandise is required throughout the shift.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Prior retail and/or Point of Sale (POS) experience

Responsibilities

  • Balance the till and prepare daily deposits
  • Build relationships with patients, teammates and customers
  • Accurate cash management
  • Share recommendations of new products and/or business strategies
  • Run reports through Point of Sale system to recommend improvements to product selection and business bottom line
  • Secure the gift shop each evening when closing
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner
  • Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
  • Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
  • Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department
