About The Position

Provides medical care and treatment to patients. This role involves conducting patient assessments, diagnosing medical conditions, and developing and implementing treatment plans in accordance with established protocols. The faculty member will monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Communication with patients and their families is essential for education and support. The position also requires maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and participating in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Staying current with medical advancements and research is also a key aspect of providing the best possible care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine equivalent, required.
• Graduate of an approved Fellowship program if applicable, required.
• Medical License in the State of Ohio, required.
• Unrestricted licensed physician, required.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics, required.
• Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the division.
