The Geriatrician serves as a specialized physician within Northern Nevada HOPES, providing evidence-based, compassionate care to older adults while contributing to the development of an integrated outpatient geriatrics program. This foundational role will help define and implement innovative, interdisciplinary care models that support aging in place, reduce healthcare disparities, and create exceptional quality-of-life outcomes for vulnerable senior populations. The Geriatric Physician is a vital member of our award-winning medical provider team, delivering comprehensive, trauma-informed care to adults aged 60+ within our Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) environment. This position uniquely combines direct patient care with program leadership, creating clinical protocols, mentoring interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with community partners, and establishing Northern Nevada's premier age-friendly health system for under-resourced seniors.
