Requirements

  • Must have a Maryland CNA I- (formally known as the Maryland GNA)

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care to residents
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
  • Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies
  • Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and licensed nursing staff
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Promote dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life for every resident
