Requirements

  • Active Maryland CNA I license- (formally known as a Maryland GNA)

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care to residents
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Observe residents for changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition and report concerns promptly to nursing staff
  • Document care provided accurately and in accordance with facility policies and procedures
  • Deliver hands‑on support under the direction of the Director of Nursing and licensed nursing staff
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Promote dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life for every resident
