Geotechnical Technician - Entry Level
About The Position
This position is full-time in person. No prior work experience required. Gateway Engineers is a multi-million-dollar, full-service civil engineering consulting firm with ~240 employees across Pittsburgh, PA, Butler, PA, and Selma, NC. The ideal candidate will have the following experience or be willing to learn: Tasks in other practice areas within the company and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams Basic knowledge of soils, construction materials, or geotechnical engineering Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Good communication skills and professional attitude when working with contractors and clients Willingness to learn field and laboratory testing procedures and standards Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow within the company This opportunity requires: Education: B.S. in Geology or related field or equivalent work experience
Requirements
