The genetics counselor is responsible to provide genetic counseling for sporadic, familial and hereditary forms of cancer and cardiac disease to both patients and families. The counselor will also perform a cancer risk assessment. The Counselor will assist the participants with strategies to cope with the risk information they receive. This position will also support the development of research, and development of a genetic registry database.
