About The Position

The Generalist of Human Resources projects a positive, professional, and values driven image to current and prospective employees, supporting Family Resources’ mission of supporting successful lives to build strong communities. This role promotes Family Resources as an employer of choice by fostering an inclusive, trauma informed, and employee centered workplace that supports engagement, well being, and retention throughout the full employee lifecycle. As a key member of the Human Resources team, the Generalist of Human Resources supports human resources functions across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance support, compliance, internal transitions, and off boarding. Separations and off boarding processes are approached with professionalism, empathy, discretion, and respect, ensuring dignity centered, trauma informed practices while maintaining confidentiality and compliance. The Generalist of Human Resources also serves as a backup for payroll and benefits support, leave administration (FMLA, LOA, ADA), unemployment, workers’ compensation, audits, training initiatives, internal investigations, corrective action processes, and employee transitions. All responsibilities are performed under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, ensuring consistency with applicable local, state, federal, and accreditation requirements. Flexibility is required and may include evenings, weekends, or holidays. As a member of Family Resources, you will have an EOS leader who: Gives clear directions. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing, access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate auto insurance, and the ability to pass a motor vehicle record background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a closely related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management).
  • Entry level experience appropriate to a student or recent graduate, which may include internships, practicum placements, academic projects, part time employment, or volunteer work involving human resources, administrative support, customer service, or data management.

Responsibilities
