About The Position

The main function of this position is to keep the west portion of the plant area, under and around the holding tanks, clean and presentable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must be a team player.
• A person must be able to recognize work needing to be done and work with very little supervision to accomplish end results.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
• Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
• Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• To sweep the area under and around the storage bins, shovel up all products on the ground area, and discard them properly.
• To wash down area as directed; to work in other areas as needed; to wear personal protection equipment; to work safely.
• Any other duties assigned by manager.
