About The Position

Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is seeking a dependable and motivated General Utility Worker/Groundskeeper to join our Maintenance Department. This position plays an important role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our facility’s grounds and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Education and/or experience in the performance of a variety of manual tasks that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade equivalent to one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine care and maintenance of lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowerbeds.
• Applying appropriate quantities of fertilizers and pesticides to ensure healthy, attractive grounds.
• Assisting with underground repairs to service lines, including water, sewer, and steam systems, and maintaining underground manholes.
• Supporting general maintenance and repair of groundskeeping and maintenance equipment.
• Assisting with various maintenance department duties such as basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and wall patching (both old and new surfaces).
