About The Position

Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is currently accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance/Construction Technician IV. This position serves as a working supervisor, with primary responsibility for overseeing and coordinating the facility’s carpentry staff and managing construction projects. The role involves hands-on work as well as leadership duties to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards.

Requirements

• High school or General Educational Development diploma and two (2) years of experience in the performance of the full range of journey level tasks associated with two (2) or more highly complex mechanical or building trades, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May require current certification by the Environmental Protection Agency as a Type I, II, III or Universal technician as required by Title 40, Code of Federal Regulations Part 82, Subpart F.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience coordinating projects with outside contractors
• Demonstrated experience working with construction in a health care facility
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with security devices (locks, doors, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience working with building and safety codes
