The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for General Surgery, Assistant Professor, Surgery, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. ROLE of the POSITION The Department of Surgery at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas seeks a General Surgeon to join its academic faculty. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general surgery services at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) and other affiliated hospitals, the primary teaching hospital for the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient care, operative general surgery cases, and participation in a rotational shared call schedule, including days, nights, and weekends. The faculty member will actively participate in the education and supervision of medical students and general surgery residents within an ACGME-accredited training program, contributing to teaching in the operating room, inpatient units, and clinical settings.
