About The Position

The General Sanitation position involves performing sanitation labor while adhering to all food safety and safety policies and procedures. It requires food safety and safety awareness, attention to detail, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. The role is an overnight position with shifts starting between 10:15 PM and 11:15 PM. After qualification, compensation is $23.10/hour, which includes a shift differential. Sunshine pay is also included. The food safety sanitation technician must understand how to work with necessary chemicals, work at a pace that ensures timely plant cleanliness for the customer, and comply with company policies, including satisfactory attendance.

Responsibilities

Work cooperatively with FSQA personnel and management to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers.
Wear employer-specified PPE (gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, safety glasses, etc.).
Perform all tasks safely.
Use Lock-out/Tag-out.
Understand and comply with all safety policies covered during training.
Understand chemical types, labeling, PPE, and warnings regarding mixing chemicals.
Work at an acceptable speed to deliver the plant on time.
Abide by company policies, including satisfactory attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
