About The Position

Engenious, a US-based Consulting agency with a global presence and expertise in Mobile Development and Testing has a fantastic opportunity to join the world-class team as a QA analyst for their flagman client. Open role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General QA Engineer with automation Playwright to join our dynamic team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 + years of experience in quality assurance and strong knowledge of QA theory and agile methodologies.
  • 2+ years with Playwright and automation
  • Proficiency in testing web applications.
  • Experience in manual, functional, and regression testing.
  • Ability to write clear and self-explanatory test cases.
  • Understanding of JS and Typescript
  • Experience with Playwright framework for UI and API automation.
  • Knowledge of testing Generative AI components, including performance and accuracy validation.
  • Proficiency in Chrome Dev Tools.
  • Ability to test APIs.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills. Attention to detail and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • English B2-C1

Nice To Haves

  • ISTQB certified Advance or Expert level is a big plus
  • Experience with other testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience in testing mobile platforms on both iOS and Android is a big plus
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Github actions, Circle CI
  • Security, Blockchain testing experience
  • Experience working with SaaS solutions such as SauceLabs and BrowserStack
  • Hands-on experience with Case.io
  • Experience with Appium and Detox

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional, not functional testing of web and mobile applications (IOS, Android).
  • Regularly perform regression and smoke testing, and update test suites as needed.
  • Review and analyze requirements to ensure thorough understanding and test coverage.
  • Create, organize, and maintain detailed test cases for new and existing product features, ensuring thorough coverage and traceability to requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the required test documentation.
  • Report, track, and manage defects in Jira
  • Establish and maintain visibility of the QA process through reports with quality metrics.
  • Proactively collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure high-quality product releases.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts with Playwright for a variety of web and backend applications.
  • Perform API Testing: Design and execute automated API tests, validating the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of web services.
