About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: The General Manager position consists of leading and managing all school staff in upholding the Aqua-Tots Swim School Core Values and brand standards. Our mission is to provide customers with consistent, quality swimming lessons that adhere to the Aqua-Tots Curriculum Standards and provide excellent customer service in a safe and welcoming environment. COMPENSATION Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 comensurate with experience Quarterly sales and performance based bonus opportunities up to $10,000 Comprehensive benefits package Travel and leadership development opportunities Days and hours may fluctuate based on the school’s needs and season 1 weekend shift required (Saturday/Sunday from 7:00a-4:00p) POSITION TYPE Medical Insurance: Employer pays 70% of health insurance premium; employee pays 30% Closed for all major holidays Retail-style schedule aligned with a school-year calendar Professional development opportunities SCHEDULE Full-time; one weekend shift required Must be in facility min of 40 hours/week Days and hours may fluctuate based on the school’s needs and season Travel less than 10% WHAT YOU'LL DO Team Leadership & Development Recruit, hire, train, and coach all staff Execute assessments to conduct performance reviews and lead culture-building initiatives Foster a fun, supportive environment rooted in Aqua-Tots Core Values Customer Experience Maintain a high level of customer engagement and ensure overall customer satisfaction by Creating the Aqua-Tots Experience Support families by providing education and recommendations through the Learn-To-Swim program Resolve escalated customer situations Oversee communication and front desk systems Operations & Safety Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming facility Uphold pool and pump room safety standards Review incident reports and ensure compliance Ensure staff certification are tracked and current Sales & Business Performance Lead enrollment and revenue growth Set sales targets and build incentive plans Manage payroll, inventory, and budget adherence Oversee POS accuracy, retention strategies, and lead conversion Administration & Compliance Maintain franchise operational and accounting compliance Oversee scheduling, shift coverage, and onboarding/offboarding Run payroll Manage employee relations and documentation Build, manage, and adhere to the school budget REPORTS TO Franchise Owner MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience Valid Driver’s License, o pen availability 2-3 years of management experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong report, writing, and presentation skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in aquatics or children (not required) Experience with sales and/or sales management REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS - Completed During Onboarding Aqua-Tots Front Desk Staff (AT-FDS) Aqua-Tots Basic Water Safety Instructor (AT-WSI) CPR & First Aid For questions and inquiries please contact our talent acquisition team at [email protected]

Requirements
