About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for driving sales performance and profitability while developing and leading a cohesive, high-performing management team and staff. This role serves as the primary liaison between store operations and corporate leadership, ensuring open communication, operational excellence, and alignment with company directives. As a key leader within the store, the General Manager oversees people development, P&L performance, and the consistent execution of the highest standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC), while supporting 85°C Bakery Cafe’s vision and strategic goals. Founded in 2004, 85°C Bakery Cafe is a global bakery and beverage retail brand with over 1,000 locations worldwide. Requirements

  • Minimum Education : High School Diploma; AA degree, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum Experience : Two (2) years of store management experience in a bakery, restaurant, or fast-food environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with high self-confident and able to clearly communicate complex information.
  • In-depth understanding of 85°C products and future concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in Training, Operation Development, and Customer Service
  • Maintain and foster an owner mentality among self and all subordinating managers.
  • Personal familiarity with daily store operation, from opening to closing.
  • Experience in management of high volume stores, in direct supervision of ten (10) or more employees.
  • Ability to work full-time, including nights and weekend hours.
  • All Store associates including management will be expected to cross train in each department including: Bread, Cake, POS, Bar.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives; maintain high personal sales level and drive store results through others.
  • Support the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse pool of talents.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service to each guest.
  • Drive customer service by coaching and modelling the desired behaviors.
  • Maintain high standard of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety.
  • Monitor and meet the performance standard, including but not limited to 85°C policies, core values, and standard operating procedure.
