Our rapid growth and breadth of accounts translates into exciting opportunities for our people!Job SummaryAs a General Manager at SAS, you will lead the overall operation and financial performance of a B&I account with breakfast, lunch, and catering services. This role oversees multiple dining service departments across assigned locations, ensuring high-quality service, operational efficiency, and achievement of financial goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of foodservice management experience, including multi-unit oversight
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility
  • Experience in retail and cash-based food operations
  • Knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation, and cost controls
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring service and operational standards are consistently met
  • Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and food safety standards
  • Lead, hire, train, and develop management teams
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain quality, sanitation, and operational excellence
  • Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving and proactive leadership
  • Lead management meetings and support team alignment on goals and priorities
