Requirements

  • Five years of luxury high volume food & beverage management experience
  • Eight years of hospitality experience, customer service focus
  • Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills
  • Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Inspired always to lead Evermore brand and team member values
  • Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines
  • Proficient in standard industry computer systems (POS, work order systems, inventory, etc.)
  • Must stay current with resort operations and food & beverage trends
  • Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach.
  • Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct all facets of a restaurant’s business, ensuring effective and efficient day-to-day and long-term operations
  • Assist with training, recruiting, HR and administrative duties
  • Assist the finance department with restaurant financials, budgeting and statement preparation
  • Assist with customer service inquiries, when necessary; monitor guest feedback scores/comments and address accordingly, champion guest satisfaction score programs
  • Support departmental strategic goals and plans
  • Positively and proactively collaborate with other department leaders to ensure we meet the organization's goal
  • Attend and conduct meetings as required both within the department and within the property’s organizational structure; plan and conduct team member department meetings quarterly
  • Organize, run and supervise smooth and efficient daily opening and closing shifts, ensuring an exceptional and luxury guest and Team Member experience
  • Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams while fostering our Evermore Culture
  • Respond immediately and effectively to Team Member needs and feedback
  • Assist in managing costs, driving sales and growing the business in support of financial goals
  • Partner with the culinary team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise and develop all BOH Team Members and teams as needed
  • Create and implement seasonal beverage menus, collaborating with culinary, recreation and marketing on special events
  • Perform regular and ad hoc inventories of food, beverage and restaurant supplies and track high-cost items; place food, beverage and restaurant supply orders; and accept and inspect deliveries
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems and work with POS vendors and/or third-party technicians on issues needing assistance.
  • Responsible for all operating stages and administration, meeting compliance with state, federal, and local demands, and regulations for the restaurant
  • Ensure team is following all standard policies and procedures.
  • Model and promote teamwork across all teams
  • Use tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors and Team Members, and respond with patience and courtesy
  • Promote and practice Evermore’s culture and establish a positive, inclusive work environment and ensure the resort’s brand is not compromised
  • Respond to any reasonable task assigned by upper management or ownership
  • Work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites with or without overnight travel, as needed
