Our General Manager role is responsible for the daily operation of a healthcare transportation network, including supervision and coaching of Logistics Service Representatives, management of client relationships, and attainment of location service quality and profit objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Operations related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive business experience with an operations focus
  • Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative work style, able to work well within & across departments
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong customer relation skills, demonstrated ability to interact with key decision makers
  • Process-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement, excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership & coaching skills, able to develop team members for future advancement
  • Excellent presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, teammates and customers

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant industry experience preferred
  • Successful P&L or budget management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Meet and or exceed market performance goals related to: customer satisfaction, quality, profitability, labor efficiency, equipment utilization, employee satisfaction and safety performance
  • Oversee planning, implementation and ongoing management of new services and/or changes to existing services
  • Meet and or exceed client performance requirements and manage client relations through regular formal and informal interactions
  • Partner with sales team to evaluate potential new business and offer recommendations to enhance existing business relationships
  • Collaborate with sales, product development and other departments to monitor service trends
  • Partner with all departments to drive continuous improvement in service, quality, operational efficiency and cost reductions
  • Inspect to ensure that all safety, preventative maintenance and other standards are consistently met
  • Direct and lead the hiring, training, and development of the market operations team
  • Ensure market fleet is properly maintained and utilized
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
