General Manager - Tournament of Kings - Excalibur
About The Position
Step into a premier leadership role as the General Manager of Tournament of Kings at Excalibur Hotel and Casino, where you will lead one of the most iconic dining and entertainment experiences on the Strip. In this role, you will drive day-to-day operations, lead and develop your team, and ensure seamless execution across service and show. You will optimize guest flow and seating, oversee staffing and training, and deliver strong operational and financial performance. With a focus on energy, precision, and experience, you will set the tone for exceptional service and create memorable moments that keep guests coming back.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of leadership experience in high-volume hospitality or restaurant operations
- Strong understanding of large-scale, multi-faceted operations that combine dining and entertainment
- Experience managing or supporting banquet-style or high-capacity service operations
- Flexible and adaptable, with availability to support extended schedules and peak business periods
Responsibilities
- Owns, leads and oversees daily restaurant operations, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution and development of marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability.
- Co-own (with Executive Chef) the restaurant’s business plan and represent the restaurant in divisional, property or corporate meetings.
- Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for the restaurant staff.
- Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness within all areas of Beverage.
- Responsible for completion of all company compliance training by the restaurant staff.
- Manages Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning process that encompass the company’s diversity commitment.
- Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience.
- Reacts to any guest complaints and takes any appropriate action.
- Manages Restaurant’s guest feedback channels through approved company practices.
- Maintains excellent knowledge of venue’s food & beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties.
